Eaton House The Manor is an extensive 1.5 acre campus, set opposite the leafy stretches of Clapham Common, where our distinctive green and red uniforms are a familiar sight to locals. The Manor is home to four separate schools; our boys’ Prep school, which is housed in the original Georgian manor house, together with our co-educational Nursery, boys’ Pre-Prep and Girls’ School, which are housed in spacious purpose-built buildings.
Day to day, our schools bustle with activity. Pupils are busy with a dynamic academic curriculum and have many opportunities for trips and extension activities outside of the classroom. They are intelligent, bright, and curious with a variety of talents that we strive to nurture – academic, sporting, artistic, dramatic and musical pursuits are all encouraged. The ‘sporty’ child is well catered for by specialist coaches and extensive sports facilities, as well as access to Clapham Common. Music provision is strong in each school; pupils have many opportunities to sing and play together in musical ensembles, for both school and wider community events. The performing arts are also enjoyed by all, with lavish production value and a professional standard of costumes for theatrical productions, of which there are many.
Pupil wellbeing is considered of the utmost importance at Eaton House Schools. We prioritise the mental health of our pupils because we know that happy children achieve great results. Each of the schools is led by a passionate head teacher, determined to ensure that every child is noticed, championed and supported, both academically and emotionally. New pupils are assigned a ‘buddy’ or ‘big sister’ from the oldest year groups to guide them through the start of their journey at Eaton House Schools. Together with the House system, dedicated form tutors, and an extensive online wellbeing hub, this forms a framework of pastoral care that makes Eaton House Schools the gold standard in pupil wellness.
We know that for children of prep age and younger, their world is primarily formed of home and school, and so it is vital for there to be strong communication between the two. We therefore extend a warm welcome to the families of our boys; parents and carers are invited to come into school and touch base with teachers every day.
