Eaton House The Manor as a whole has just received a remarkable review from the prestigious Tatler Schools’ Guide, 2025 (published with the October 2025 edition of the Tatler magazine), which reports that ‘the entire teaching body is fantastic’ adding, ‘We’re told that each [teacher] has brought a different sparkle to their pupils’ lives.’

The Tatler Schools Guide comments that ‘parents who value the benefits of a single-sex education are flocking here’ and points out the benefits of boys and girls being educated separately on the same site, ‘sharing various facilities, specialist subject teachers and activities.’

Having spoken to a number of parents, it shares that one parent said that they were ‘delighted with the improvements they’ve seen in their daughter’s confidence.’ The parent added that ‘girls are simply made to stand up in front of their peers from the very earliest age […] everyone is involved and that’s that.’

Our Prep Heads also come in for high praise. Tatler Schools 2025 says that Mrs Sarah Segrave, Principal of Eaton House Schools and Headmistress of the Prep School, is ‘nothing short of extraordinary.’ In Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School, Headmistress Mrs Claire Fildes is lauded as ‘dynamic and exceptionally competent’, but both agree that while it is nice to receive these comments, creating the special magic that shimmers over the Eaton House The Manor site is a team game, shared with Mr David Wingfield, Head of the Pre-Prep School, Mrs Roosha Sue, Head of Early Years at Eaton House Schools and Headmistress of Eaton House The Manor Nursery, and all the parents and pupils.

The education that starts at 2+ in the Nursery is the beginning of a long, slow build, leading to the Prep Schools and the wonderful results we achieve at 11+ for girls and 13+ for boys, with many scholarships offered. With a carefully prepared academic base and a gold standard of wellbeing that cherishes every child’s personality and strengths, and a wonderful pupil and parent body that really invests in our community, our common goals are achieved.

A*s all round!
