The first day of a new academic year is always a very important occasion at Eaton House The Manor, however this year, our Prep school’s annual flag raising also marked an extra special day; our 30th birthday! Our new Head Boy, Jasper, had the pleasure of raising the flag, while our Deputy Head Boy, Rocco, rung in the new school year in a time-honoured tradition – 3 cheers for Eaton House!
We opened our doors to our first cohort of green and red clad pupils in September 1993, at which time we consisted of a small Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School. 10 years later, in 2003, a totally sustainable refurbishment of the Eaton House The Manor site got underway – we were one of the first local independent schools to commit wholeheartedly to a ‘green’ policy, with 100% of demolition material recycled and the use of local suppliers reducing our carbon footprint.
In the 30 years since the grand opening of Eaton House The Manor, we are proud to have opened a flourishing Girls’ school, purpose-built Nursery, state-of-the-art science and technology labs, and much more, all whilst nurturing a whole generation of bright young minds!
