At Eaton House Belgravia, we were hard at work over the summer holidays, with major renovations taking place ready for the start of the 2023/24 year.
The expansion of learning space at Eaton House Belgravia was the primary project over the holidays. Prior to this summer, located at the top of the school’s two Georgian Townhouses was a flat, which over the years has served as the home of headteachers and an office for administrative staff. However, we are delighted that – not without a lot of planning and hard work from our Estates Team – the flat has now been transformed into a spacious school library and staff area. Where the lounge once was, pupils will now find a perfect place to take a break from the day and read their favourite books. Boys can sit back in comfort on one of the spacious sofas or beanbags, while having the choice of thousands of books at their fingertips!
Across the hallway, we have created an additional space for staff to sit, have a coffee and complete their work. More furniture will be added to the staff room to give it a cosy and relaxed feel. Furthermore, a staff changing room and shower are now available on the top floor of Eaton House Belgravia, encouraging our commuting staff to go green and cycle to work!
